base.dcl: Can’t find file

This is an AutoCAD error.
You must locate your BASE.DCL file, which is usually in the folder (or similar one) shown below.

AutoCAD 2015 Example
C:UsersYourUsernameappdataroamingautodeskautocad 2017r21.0enusupport
“YourUsername” is your name or the name used on the computer.

You can also search your computer for “base.dcl” to locate the folder where this file is located.

Then in the AutoCAD “Options” “Support file search path” this should be the first path in the list.
