Loading the App Toolbar Ribbon Icon manually
Type this command:
Command: CUILOAD <Enter>
This displays the Load/Unload Customizations dialog as shown below:
From the dialog, select “Browse….”
This displays The “Select Customization File Dialog as shown above. Copy this path
%appdata%AutodeskApplicationPlugins
Then paste it in the “File Name:” edit box at the bottom of the dialog.
Click the “Open” button just above the Cancel button on the bottom right. You now see the “ApplicationPlugins”
folder at the top of the dialog in the “Look in”” pulldown.
Depending on the App you have, select and open the App folder to see the “Contents” folder.
Open the “Contents” folder to see the *.cuix files.
If you do not see any “*.cuix” files, open the “SUPPORT” folder.
Select the App Menu file for your application (this is just an example) with the extension “.cuix”
Click “Open” button to return to the main Load/Unload Customization dialog.
You now see the App Menu in the “File Name:” edit box in the dialog.
NOTE: Copy this file path as you will need to use it when setting the App Support Path.
Click the “Load” button to load the menu file
You will see a confirmation at the bottom of the text screen similar to this one:
Customization file loaded successfully. Customization Group: SOFTDRAFTSTEEL2D-MAISC
Now click “Close” button to close the dialog. The menu will be in the “Add-Ins” or “Plug-Ins” tab of the Ribbon.
