Transferring Your SoftDraft License to Another Computer

How to Release the License for the Steel2K App as an Example

1. Open AutoCAD:

   • Start AutoCAD and open a new drawing.

2. Access the Steel2K Dialog:

   • Click on the Steel2K icon to open the Steel2K dialog box.

3. Close the Dialog:

   • In the Steel2K dialog box, click the “Cancel” button to close it.

4. Enter the Release Command:

   • At the AutoCAD command prompt, type (APPRelease) and press Enter.

5. Confirm License Release:

   • A dialog box will appear with the message “License Released.” Click the “OK” button to close this dialog.

6. Retrieve the Release Code:

   • Press the F2 key to open the AutoCAD text window. You will see a “Release Code” displayed, such as <-1739113960-2460628.84576389>.

7. Send the Release Code:

   • Email this release code back to us to complete the process.
